This presentation will cover some of the topics around climate change that impact Insurance Operations and Catastrophe modeling.

It will also cover some of the “facts vs myths” of climate change that relate to natural catastrophes,

and how what is happening works its way into Catastrophe modeling.

Howard is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Certified Catastrophe Risk Management Professional. He is currently a member of the Casualty Actuarial Society’s Ratemaking, Product and Modeling (RPM) Seminar Planning Committee, and is a member of the Academy’s Extreme Event Committee and Flood Insurance Working Group.
