Jingle Bell Run

Hi Orange Empire members!

I want to let you know about a fun and charitable event we’re doing soon. Our chapter will be participating in the Jingle Bell Run on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Angel Stadium. Join us and tie jingle bells on your shoelaces too in support of the Arthritis Foundation. Did you know that one in four Americans has arthritis? That’s nearly 60 million Americans including over 300,000 children – yes, kids get arthritis too. Arthritis is much more than just aches and pains. For many, it significantly impacts their ability to complete simple tasks like dressing themselves or even walking. Arthritis hurts. You and I can help and it’s fun too. The Arthritis Foundation seeks to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases. I want to invite you to run or walk with me at the Jingle Bell Run on December 2nd at Angel Stadium and invite your friends, family, and co-workers to do the same. I am walking in honor of my mom Debbie, who is battling arthritis every day. I’m sure we all know somebody who is affected by arthritis pain. It’s a real struggle and sometimes it seems like there’s not a lot that can be done. But we can do something about it by raising money to fund research. Imagine what a nice walk or run it will be with friends and colleagues and for such a good cause. Plus you get a t-shirt and jingle bells for participating! I really hope you can join us.
