Practice Exams are Changing in 2009!
The SMART practice exams will now be offered online.
The material previously included on the SMART Practice Exam CD-ROM will be offered as online practice exams beginning January 2009. If a course has SMART Online Practice Exam associated with it, the student will find an access code on the inside back cover of the course guide. This access code allows you to print (in PDF format) a full practice exam and to take additional online practice exams that will help prepare you for the national examination.

IRC Study: Fraud and Buildup Add 13 to 18 Percent in Excess Payments to Auto Injury Claims

Injury Claims, November 2008. A new study by the Insurance Research Council (IRC) estimates that claim fraud and buildup added between $4.8 billion and $6.8 billion in excess payments to auto injury insurance claims closed with payment in 2007. The excess payments amount to between 13 percent and 18 percent of total payments under the five main private passenger auto injury coverages. read more |
